Celery in bloody Mary came flaccid. The overall drink Was less than desirable. The tomato bruschetta had a hair in it. Didn't even try it due to this. Was very overpriced. It was very cold in there. The waitress was sweet and kind, which was the best part of our experience. Sad to say the least. Had much higher expectations due to reviews and location.

Very cool place. First timer there. Greeted by the hostess right away, and we were sat my by the window. The place is really cool, fire place in the middle of the dining room. Christopher was our server, he was very nice, friendly and attentive. He gave us time to think through on the food and drinks. Plus, he was very honest when I had asked him his opinions on the food items. We got Brisket Nachos, Aperol spritz, Brisket Melt, BBQ chix Pizza, and caramel martini. Overall, good food, good drinks, nice place, and wonderful server.

Food is pretty okay. The atmosphere is great and the town is really cute. The wait staff is very helpful and nice. They have a free ice skating rink right outside the restaurant, which is really nifty.

Very disappointing. Barrel Back was recommended to us while we were in the area. Our experience was not good. We waited more than 40 minutes for our appetizer. The server was polite and I do not believe it was his fault. The appetizer of buffalo chicken dip was tasty but nothing special. The rest of our order came after we finished our app. The pulled pork sandwich was not edible. It was cold with congealed fat and the gluten free bun was disintegrating as it was not prepared properly. The chips I was served seemed to be from the bottom of a chip bag. We did not trust that the order would be corrected in a reasonable timeframe and we just left. Very sad lunch. The atmosphere at Barrel Back is lovely.

Great view and atmosphere. Love the inside fireplace and all the windows overlooking Walloon lake. Nice music at night. Been going here for many years but Unfortunately , the Quality of the food has gone downhill since we started going there when they first opened. The past few times we went there we have been disappointed with the food. The staff is very nice. They no longer serve the pork sliders and the pork sandwich was disappointing. They chicken nachos were a disappointment as well. It used to be one of our favorite places but unfortunately we will not be going back to the Barrel back!
