Nestled in downtown Petoskey, Beards has a unique concealed backroom location. With a vibe like your neighborhood coffee shop, the low key feeling is ever present with the offering of Wed-Sat food truck Happy’s Tacos. Looking for a good summer beer? Look no further than the Luna, this beer is a classic brewery staple that is a saison-styled American wheat ale that has amazing undertones of citrus. The Serendipity Porter offers a smooth chocolatey flavor with a perfect blend of sweetness. There are also subtle undertones of sherry and smoke that makes this a great class of beer.

Loved the spot - great overlook of the lake. Beer variety is nice & sure to improve as they grow. Dunkel, IPA’s and Red were my favorites from the flight we shared. The burritos & tacos were tasty. But the self service, pick up at the window & paper & plastic utensils have to be improved to get 5 stars. Did buy a 6 pack to go and had a great time here. Love to come here on next Michigan trip. Restrooms clean & easy to find. Wheelchair accessible.

Their tacos are soooo good! We also loved their Guacamole. We definitely recommend eating here. Go to the bar to get a menu & place your order then you can sit anywhere and they will text you when your food is ready. The restaurant is great and the view is nice. I love the chill vide and good tacos. If you’re eating with kids just check that there is something your kids will eat. We ended up getting my daughter a pretzel around the corner. We would definitely eat here again.

This place was pretty good, I had the poutine, I liked it but I honestly would probably get something else next time.. they have you order at the bar then they will send you a text when it's ready.. great views and friendly service too!

Find another place to eat and drink. Poor service. Fast food quality. For $80 bucks you can get skunky beer, cold fries, warm coleslaw, and greasy fish served on paper plates. Oh and you have to serve yourself. Order your beer at the counter. Pick up your food at another counter. Which would be fine if it was good. But it’s not. Too many good choices in town to waste your money here.

My wife and I have always loved this place. It's a must visit when coming up north. When we arrived we weren't greeted at all. We were extremely confused! No one to tell us at all what was going on. It's self seat self serve. We walked back to the main bar area. Where we found out that you couldn't open a tab and had to pay every time you ordered anything. Super inconvenient. When you are texted about your food being ready, you also have to get your own utensils and plates. All plastic and paper. Why would you make pizza a "seasonal" thing? That is so ridiculous. People love your pizza why would you even think that was a good idea. The loaded fries were good and the the kids liked the freedom fries. That's all that appealed to a family. This place has taken a downfall with the food menu. The beer is keeping this place alive. Nothing else. The experience isn't what it used to be. Hope yall turn things around and listen to the reviews.
