Great hotel! Staff was polite and very responsive to any needs we had. Nice clientele at the hotel, mostly baby boomers out golfing/boating and vacationing, fun atmosphere. Restaurant a block away called Jax was very convenient and hit the spot. Well kept up room and safe area. Hotel recently bought out by Best Western. For a continental breakfast, it was generous. We utilized the pool and hot tub. No complaints and I would not hesitate to stay again! Obviously, did not have the amenities or facilities of a luxury hotel. I noticed a thing or two on the exterior of the facility, including vinyl trim that was in need of repair. Staff could have paid a little better attention to the sheets that had a very small stain or two on it (I'm sure they would have replaced sheets if we asked them). For a two-star hotel and the price of $110, it was good value for what we needed, better value than other comparable hotels in the area.

Staff was great. Hotel rooms not so much. The rooms are small if there are more then two people. Don't have a lot of stuff because there is no where to put it. The closest doesn't even fit a long dress. Also don't plan on getting a response from Marjorie the person who does the booking for blocks of rooms. It took about 2 1/2 months for her to calle back the first time I called. Then I had to call back because she never put in the block of rooms for me, and that took at least two weeks for a call back. Also if you're planning on having a wedding or attending a wedding at castle farms plan accordingly. Marjorie told us that the hotel was on the same side of the bridge as castle farms, it wasn't. We were late to the rehearsal and set up for my son's wedding. The hotel is on the opposite side of the bridge. So we had to wait for the bridge to go up and down and then wait in traffic for at least a half hour for a 7 minute drive. I definitely would not recommend this place u

Worst hotel I’ve stayed at in years. Was in room 118 where it smelled like someone smoked 100 packs of cigarettes. I mentioned this and apparently an employee lived there for a year and half and they can’t get it right. They said Lake View and we could see one small patch of blue. Breakfast was terrible. Room was semi clean, small showers. Pictures looked much better. I’d rather stay closer to downtown

We were first put into a regular room and it took them two days to get us jn to the booked suite. No excuse or reimbursement. We could hear every flushing and every conversation in the suite. The thin mattress on the pull out couch was impossible to sleep on. On the day of checkout I asked for a late checkout and was told that I would get a call in the morning. No call. The manager of the cleaning crew hammered on our door at 12:30pm and told us that we would be charged an extra night, if we weren't out in 5 minutes(!). I have an adult daughter in a wheelchair who is an amputee and has multiple medical issues. No way was I able to help her get dressed, pack up all her medical stuff plus our regular stuff from our 9 day stay. After 10 minutes the manager matched in and started cursing and told her crew to just pack up all our belongings. Everything was just thrown together while the cursing kept on going until everything was out of the room. Never ever have I been treated like that nor have I heard of such treatment ever happening to anyone else. Absolutely terrible!!! I must say, that the cleaning crew was friendly and it was just the manager that was way off.

Nice room. Doorway was a little small. Couldn't really get the luggage trolley in the room. The staff was friendly. Pool was smaller then I thought but we had fun.
