Good price for a quick stay, cute exterior; but it left a lot to be desired. Although the hotel is pet friendly, it would be nice if rooms didn’t smell like a wet dog. I saw 2 bugs in the bathroom, rust, ripped carpet, cracked paint and there were many upgrades needed to the room. The pool didn’t look clean and the outdoor area seemed overgrown. There were fans in the lobby and some areas were hot and cold. Breakfast was ok at best.

The stay ended up being fine, but wow - for the price we paid, this hotel was not what we expected. The rooms are extremely dated and had such a strange smell to them. Maybe it used to be a smoking room? The linens were definitely clean and past the smell, the room itself was also clearly clean. It was about a 5-10 min drive into downtown Charlevoix and a 5-10 minute drive to some beach access, so not bad but also not very walkable.

Clean, small room for 2 at a very good rate. Continental breakfast had good choices including hard boiled eggs and Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. The A/C unit was quieter than many that I have experienced. I also appreciated that the A/C wasn't pointed directly at the bed like many other hotels.

Honestly, it was just ok. For the price the hotel is in major need of upgrading. The bathroom is the smallest bathroom I have ever seen. Often wouldn’t actually see anyone at the front desk. The breakfast was nice as was the pool and hot tub area. I probably wouldn’t choose this hotel again especially traveling as a family with my niece and her friend just not enough room.

Just okay. Good for a quick stay. Pet friendly which is nice. Room was spacious and for the most party clean. Large bathroom. Breakfast is included but was okay. Biscuits and gravy and waffles the only hot options available. I didn't use the pool but it looked clean.
