The sap from the maple trees surrounding Charlevoix, Michigan's Harwood Lake, has been made into pure maple syrup by the Parsons family since the late 1800's. They are the fifth generation of Parsons, excited and honored to carry on the family tradition of making high-quality, pure maple syrup on their beautiful farm.

Harwood has pretty good lattes/hot drinks. The grab and go food items are obscenely expensive. They don’t have prices on them, I’m guessing for this reason. I would recommended asking before attempting to pay—-worse than airport prices.

July 2021...The you-bake cherry pie was great. The 'fresh' chocolate croissant was stale and the chocolate was low-grade. The apple pie was GREAT with the crust made with butter not lard. Salad, latte and grilled cheese were mediocre.

Cute store but the iced coffee was the worst I've ever had. Can't tell there was any milk or syrup. The employee at the counter was rather short when I asked for a napkin. Just smile and be helpful.

We came in for a drink and a snack this afternoon. We tried the Braised brisket and portobello meat pie and were delightfully pleased. It was flavorful, filling, and served warm. My husband had the cinnamon toast crunch iced latte, it was even served with cinnamon toast crunch cereal too! I had the golden milk iced latte and it was really good too! The store had a great gift shop with unique items. They also had a grab and go fridge with salads and meat and cheeses. We will definitely come back!

Nice coffee for sure. Lovely setting and fantastic selection of quality preserves, honey, and other locally-made products.
