What an absolutely INCREDIBLE experience! We've spent lots of time on rivers in the summer but never in the winter and wow, so enchanting!✨ Dana, our guide, was informative and interesting and such a fun guide. We all enjoyed it and all agreed we'd return! A must do if you're in the area!

Very relaxing rafting trip in the winter. Guide was nice and knowledgeable. The serenity of the trip was wonderful. It started snowing when we were going down river and it made it even more beautiful. Dress warm I wore gloves, hat scarf. Ski suit, ski boots etc. I wish I had gone rafting in February when there's a ton of snow Piled up.

What a beautiful Northern Michigan river! Do yourself a favor and make time to paddle the length of it, from Graves Crossing to the park at Bridge St in East Jordan - you'll get a closer look at the Eagles nesting in the Nature Preserve! Melanie was super-helpful putting the trip together, and our shuttle driver was terrific. We paddled by ourselves in a tandem canoe, but judging from the staff we met I'm sure their river guides must be awesome. What a great outfit, what a classic paddle!

We had the greatest day paddling down the river with Dan as our guide. You absolutely can’t beat this experience. The kids (age 12 and 7) had just as much fun as the adults; without their technology (gasp!) There was so much to see! Go fall back in love with winter, see the beauty of the Jordan river first had with JV Outfitters, and book a tour! We will be talking about our day for a while! Family fun and natural beauty can’t be beat! Ask Dan for some jokes, they are pretty good! If anyone gets the secret river rock cookie recipe message me!

Quite an exhilarating experience! Recently fallen trees made for a soggy trip. Granted, our group of 7, (3 canoes) was relatively inexperienced. It would be good to have a bit more instruction at the office prior to heading out in the shuttle. This trip is better for folks expecting there to be some flips around fallen trees where rapids areas have recently grown. We had two people under the age of 15. They became a bit frightened after one of the canoes flipped. All-in-all though we had great fun. We will do it again!
