We took a rafting trip with Jordan Valley Outfitters for my bachelor party and it was an awesome and exciting time I will fondly remember forever. The owners were so nice and friendly and gave us some great advice. They also gave us a some free stickers for our cooler which look great! The river was absolutely beautiful in early May and we lucked out with some amazing weather. Since 4 of the 7 in our group had little paddling experience we heeded the advice of the owners and opted for rafts instead of canoes and it was a wise decision. The rafts were durable and gave us plenty of rooms for coolers and to spread out. The river is very fast early in the year with lots of obstructions. I could easily see how a canoe team with little paddle experience could tip. If you want just a booze cruise go with a slower river like the platte, au sable, etc. I loved the fact this river had lots of exciting narrow passages. Reading some of the other reviews I don't know how you would hold that against the owners lol. The 3 of us who knew how to paddle sat back and relaxed and watched the boat of 4 bounce of trees for three hours, it was a great time.

Gorgeous paddle - we saw a beaver, turtle, heron, bald eagle, tons of cedar waxwings. Fantastic swimming all along the route. Just a magical afternoon.

These people are awesome! We had a large group with too many last minute changes and they were overly accommodating to make sure our day went smoothly. Our first, but definitely not the last time doing business with them.

Everyone was very nice, great equipment, great prices. They do show you a video that shows your route. However, while the video does show the downed trees it does not adequately show the power of that river. It's only 2-4 feet deep, but STRONG, FAST, AND COLD! We kayak and canoe all the time but nothing prepared us for this river. We all flipped, slammed into trees, etc. The water is so cold (our fault, we should have checked, 51 degrees is hypothermia water). I went into that water after slamming into a tree, could not feel my feet or legs, and couldn't catch my breath. I've never been more terrified in my life that I was going to die. I spent the whole journey just hoping my family made it out of this river. Definitely NOT for beginners or children. There are hundreds of trees across the water to dodge and the water though shallow, is unforgiving and strong.

Great service, great people. Just wish wish would have been told that renting the tubes would be equal to bumper cars with trees and there isn't anything relaxing at all about it. It was a gorgeous trip though!
