Don’t have your own boat? Too expensive to rent one? Or simply want to experience Northern Michigan in an exciting new way? Little Traverse Bay Ferry is here to satisfy your tourist or commuter needs. Starting June 25th we are offering a service not seen here in 80 years. You will be able to travel by boat between Bay Harbor, Petoskey, and Harbor Springs. Our spacious 49-passenger vessel will give you the opportunity to explore our beautiful home in a safe manner while still giving you that direct access to the Northern Michigan you have been looking for.

We had a great time going to 3 harbors. The view was incredible! We loved the water and the beautiful sunset. The captain and first mate were fun, personable, and even let my daughter help steer the ferry! Thanks for a great experience!

A great not-for-profit business getting people out on the water! Affordable, professional, and oodles of fun. Be sure to make the little traverse bay ferry part of your northern Michigan summer! Whether you’re local or just visiting you’re sure to have a great experience. Fun staff, great mission.

Delightful way to experience Little Traverse Bay. Strongly recommend this as a means of seeing the area from the water at a leisurely pace. Take time at the various ports to experience what each one has to offer. Captain John was very professional, courteous, and entertaining.

The ride from Harbor Springs to Bay Harbor was great. However, we were left in Bay Harbor with no way to return and no reason why. We received a phone call with a message to inform us of the boat cancellation and a refund for the return trip. We had to call a cab to get back to Harbor Springs. We understand that problems arise, but an explanation would have been nice.
