Petoskey Brewing

It’s hard to miss the Petoskey Brewing building on M-119, which was built in 1898 and brewed until 1915. In 2012, the brewery was restored and reopened. The seasonal Cranium Crush Waffle Cone Raspberry Cream Ale is a great blend of fresh raspberries and actual waffle cones. This unique brew is a great seasonal beer that’s smooth and great for summer. If you are a IPA fan, Hopsessed Double I.P.A. is a bold blend of citrus and Simcoe dry hop. This beer’s high bitterness is somewhat toned down by the caramel used in the malted barley. Petoskey Brewing also offers a full menu with delicious burgers and sandwiches. Click here to view the beer list.

THOU SHALL TRY THE CHIPOTLE CHICKEN SANDWICH! If you are unsure about the beer menu because everything looks so good, you can also get a flight of 5 beers. The history behind the building is pretty cool. Their outdoor patio and seating area is a ton of fun. Definitely recommend!!

Well, we found the best fried cheese curds in the world here, so that search is over. Great beer, fresh and tasty across all the types. Blueberry Crush was awesome and the stouts are phenomenal. Great friendly staff and the history of the building is worth the visit alone. But there’s beer, so…

We showed up at 6:15 pm on a Tuesday, not expecting much of a crowd. The tables were all full but one opened up after a couple minutes. We sat down and waited at least 10 minutes to be acknowledged. It looked like there were a couple big groups in the back so we were okay with the wait. We ordered a couple beers and a burger, pretzels, cauliflower wings. Then waited about an hour for the food. It was totally worth it. Excellent smash burger with super crispy edges. Perfect pretzel with 3 cups of dipping sauce. Very flavorful buffalo cauliflower wings. Beer was really, really good.

Great Place. I admit, I don't stop in here near as much as I should! Service is quick people are friendly and food is very good! Love the atmosphere, great beer choices. Their hot wings are hotter than most places, which depending on what you like can be a plus or minus. But it's a good thing to know. In my opinion they're very good!

Stopped in to grab a beer before we hit the ski hill. The blueberry crush beer was delicious so I decided to have two! After skiing, we actually came back to have some dinner and another round. Food was great, and service was quick. It was interesting to watch the brewers at work making beer while we relaxed. I picked up a long sleeve tee and a 6 pack of seltzer's before we hit the road. Can't wait to go back!
