Smoke on the Water is first and foremost a BBQ joint. They slow-smoke their meats with various fruit woods and maple wood in their smoker that sits right outside the restaurant. SOW prides itself on serving made-from-scratch food, including their own Challah bread used in their Drunken French Toast. They deliver to all downtown businesses and the marina. They are located next to Hoffman Park which overlooks the channel. Come in and borrow a blanket for a picnic.

Their pancakes are to die for. This place isn't very big but they make up for it in their food. The sour cream pancakes are soft, moist, and delicious. They make their hashbrowns homemade, and their ketchup as well. If you are vacationing or are a local and have never been here, I highly recommend you try this little restaurant that delivers big flavor!

The food here was really delicious. I had the goat cheese and veggie omelette. It was heavenly! Everything an omelette should be - fluffy and flavorful! Service was super friendly and prompt. The homemade bread and jam was super tasty! Definitely recommend.

I’m always impressed by the food here - biscuits and gravy, French toast, lemon curd pancakes and sourdough pancakes - it’s all amazing. But what I was most surprised by earlier this week was the service from the Croatian waiter. Not only was he friendly, but had great attention to detail and found ways to help us proactively. We were so impressed!

I am a breakfast "critic". Let me tell you, this was one of the best breakfast I've ever had this morning. The eggs were a perfect over easy, hashbrowns were crispy and not greasy, bread, sourdough, homemade and absolutely delicious, sausage was spiced, smoked to perfection. Service, was top notch, coffee cup and water refilled with ever having to ask. The menu pricing was beyond fair! Oh, I almost forgot the scrumptious homemade raspberry jam. 😋 This place is a 10! Thank you for your outstanding food, service and cute little "doggie bag".

I will be honest, I had the best over medium eggs of my life here. They were cooked perfectly with nothing burnt and still runny, and complimented the rest of my All American nicely. Our server was also really friendly not only to us but everyone else.
