At That French Place, they serve their crêpes as you would buy at a crêpe stand in the streets of Paris.  Though you are more than welcome to sit and enjoy your crêpe on-site, the crêpe cones in which they serve them are designed to allow you to stroll through town, to the park or the beach while savoring this authentic French fare.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at That French Place and I cannot recommend it highly enough. As someone with allergies to eggs, gluten, and nuts, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and attention to detail. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, guiding me through the menu with patience and ensuring that my meal was safe and delicious. I opted for their gluten-free crepes, which were both beautifully presented and incredibly tasty, crafted with a filling that perfectly balanced flavor and allergen safety. The cozy ambiance and attentive service further enhanced the dining experience, making it clear why That French Place deserves its five-star rating. Whether you have dietary restrictions or not, this restaurant offers a delightful French cuisine experience. I will never stop recommending this restaurant!

Food allergy customers be aware that the crepes are all served on top of each other in one box. I have been to this place many times each summer and may have been too comfortable with it as I didn't mention that I had a nut allergy on this last visit. I didn't remember from the last summer that they were served on top of each other and when I received the order I couldn't eat the lemon sugar crepe because it was on top of the Nutella crepe. I asked to have it remade because I didn't know they would all be in 1 box ( my mistake) and Emily, the owner scolded me like a child and proceeded to tell me I was in charge of my own health and it was my responsibility to let them know when I ordered. Yes, of course I knew that, I've been doing this for 30 years but unfortunately I didn't this time and she could have been nicer about it instead of scolding me. As a repeat consumer I will never go back, nor will I recommend her bakery. She could have handled it with kindness and made an extra lemon/sugar crepe, which probably cost her 30 cents to make. It's not the money it's the nasty tone she used. I'm sure she is perfect and has never made a mistake before.

The food was incredible!! The had lots of different crepes and pastries to offer. The drinks were pretty good, all iced drinks come with coffee ice cubes which can ruin a tea but overall it was great. The staff was very kind and it did not take long for the food to come out. However, it was kind of cramped inside so I recommend sitting outside or sitting somewhere else in the town. Overall, definitely a 5 star breakfast spot.

My quiche was outstanding (the crust was delightfully thin) my husband's spinach crepe was also deish. We drink our coffee black & theirs was so tasty. We also shared a banana crepe. We brought our goodies to the nearby park (maybe East Park?) & ate at a table overlooking the harbour. Awesome way to spend lunch! 😎 NOTE: super small place, no tables inside. They make the crepes to order & give you a pager. We loved checking out the nearby shops while we waited. There are 3-4 tables right outside the shop if you don’t want to walk around.

That French Place is a gem! I have severe celiac and can’t eat out often. That French Place goes out of their way to make sure that they are safe for people like me. It’s so nice to go out and eat and know you have nothing to worry about! Thanks Brian and Emily for caring about your customers with special needs!
