What an absolute gem of a restaurant! The food was amazing! Best mushroom bisque on the planet. The TLC burger was the best burger I’ve ever had. Topped off the meal with “real” strawberry shortcake and from scratch key lime pie. The food and Chef Stafford could stand toe to toe with any big city restaurant. My only regret is that I live 600 miles from here and can’t enjoy it more frequently. Thanks for a wonderful experience. See you again next year.

This place is really cute and clean. We loved their food. Service was fast. The food came out hot and fresh. The dessert was beautifully displayed and delicious

This was our first time to the area and it was recommended to go to Torch lake for the food and live music. The drinks were delicious, a Manhattan and a Hawaiian blue. The food was even better! Steak Marsala and Scottish salmon were marvelous. Then the live music started with Leann and Ivan, a perfect ending to a fun day! If you’re looking for good food and entertainment on a Friday night, this is your place!

This is the place to stop for local food! The menu is creative, well balance of variety and local creations. It was refreshing to see chowder made with local fish and morel mushroom bisque at an affordable price! We were traveling with our dog, and luckily the outside patio seating is dog friendly. The servers were attentive and the food was fresh and delicious! The fries were cooked perfectly, its hard to find a place that does good shoe string fries, and the fruit cup was a good variety, not just melon. My husband enjoyed his pork belly burger, staying it was crispy and fatty. The fish chowder was incredible, it was savory and seasoned just right. Highly recommend checking out their little shop in the parking lot, that has souvenirs, drinks and pastries to go.

We went for a early dinner at 4:45 since we had early hunger pangs. The near empty dining filled rapidly after we were seated. We ordered Pinot Grigio, a mudslide and Diet Coke to start. The Pinot decent and mudslide very good. For victuals we had Great Lakes chowder which was excellent — nice chunks of fish and veg. The bacon cheeseburger was huge and tasty but the bun drying. The walleye sandwich very bland with little walleye flavor and on a substandard bun that was barely toasted and assembled hastily with shreds of iceberg lettuce and breading that flaked off the fish — a loser in my book. The French fries served with it were excellent however.
