Eating for Others: The Manna Food Project at Roast & Toast

On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Roast & Toast will donate 10% of proceeds to The Manna Food Project. This is the first in a series of four Eating for Others events sponsored by Wineguys Restaurant Group. Wednesday, May 14 | Roast & Toast (downtown and McLaren Medical Building) Beneficiary: The Manna Food Project Based in northern Michigan, Manna is a vital food bank and hunger-relief organization serving Antrim, Charlevoix, and Emmet Counties. With a core team of just seven staff and more than 250 dedicated volunteers, Manna operates with a shared compassion for serving neighbors in need. Manna distributes food to local pantries and agencies as an Affiliate Food Bank of the Feeding America network. In addition to running a food bank and food rescue program, Manna provides a weekly pantry, the Food 4 Kids backpack program, and hosts cooking classes and events that promote access to healthy, fresh food. “We chose Manna Food Project as the Roast & Toast beneficiary because their mission directly aligns with ours—feeding the community,” shares Keedy. “Their work makes a real difference for families across the region, and we’re honored to support it.”
