Located on the Mt. McSauba complex, this outdoor ice rink is a fan favorite. This family-friendly ice rink offers skate rentals, pick-up hockey games, and a warming shed. The ice conditions are reliant on weather conditions.
Took my wife into Young Boys to spend a little bit time at the beach to search for Charlevoix and Petoskey stones. We ended up finding a lot of both of them if you are wanting to snorkel in 2 to 3 feet of water, you will find lots of these particular rocks.

It is beautiful here any time of the year! The sandy beach is large with dunes.

A very nice park with all of the natural wonders of Michigan. Has a small ski slope as well as a disc golf course. We have played dozens of disc golf courses in the US. This one is the most challenging both physically as well as skill based. Not a beginners course. But well worth the adventure.

Great, reasonable place to ski as a family, and to learn to ski! Annie is an amazing instructor who gave our family a lesson. We also enjoyed the sledding hill out back and walked out to lake Michigan to watch the waves crash in. Ice balls were everywhere! So cool to see. Highly recommend Mt. McSauba!

The rentals were cheap, only $1, and so was the cost to actually skate, only $1, which was great. The thing I didn’t like about the rink was whoever was working. It was hard to tell since It’s a high school aged kid who was just surrounded by all his friends. Felt like I was ruining his social hockey game with my rentals. Will just continue to drive to Petoskey Winter Sports Park if we want to skate again.
