NATURAL DYE WORKSHOP WITH SILK AUGUST 20, 2026 Thursday 2 - 4pm REGISTER BY: August 18th CLASS FEE: $50, or $45 for members​ FORMAT: in-person An approachable, low impact take on natural dyeing! We are calling it Natural Dye in a Jar, but the more technical name for this method is low immersion cold natural dye. This means that we will use time and contact instead of heat to impart color on fabric and create a varied surface design in the process. Students will receive a pre-mordanted silk scarf for transforming during this guided process using dye plants that Jasmine has harvested and dried herself. Everyone will go home with a jar full of dye goodness, already steeping, and instructions to complete the process at home. Suitable for ages 10 and up. All materials provided.
