Pumpkins, Cider, a Maze – Oh My!

Halloween may be around the corner, but there's still time to fit in a scenic corn maze and pumpkin patch. Here are three Charelvoix-area favorites — perfect for a family outing or an afternoon date!

A countryside corn maze is ideal for getting lost in the north. Pick your own apples, select the perfect pumpkin patch, take a tractor-pulled hay ride, and taste signature hard ciders and wine.

Loads of pumpkins — from huge to tiny — gathered from 17 acres of orange squash. You'll also find winter squash, gourds, apples, and more, all harvested by Russ and Cindy Bolt's 150-acre farm. The nostalgic red barn, beautiful open countryside, and grazing cattle make the drive worthwhile.

Pumpkins, plus award-winning apple cider, u-pick apple orchards, gift shop, and a farm café with house-made pies. Play in the barnyard petting zoo, enjoy a tractor-drawn wagon tour, and have lunch. Don't forget a fresh pumpkin donut tossed in cinnamon and sugar – a definite Friske's favorite!
