The Rotary Club of Charlevoix has been working closely with the City of Charlevoix and the community for nearly 18 months to conceptualize, design, and fundraise for a new playground at Mt. McSauba. Thanks to the generosity of the community and the hard work of the club, we’ve raised over $230,000 to make this playground a reality. We will be hosting a Community Playground Build on May 9th and 10th.
You can sign up as an individual or as part of a group or club. Please provide your email so we can send reminders two days before the event. This state-of-the-art, one-of-a-kind playground will be unlike any other in the area. Not only will it serve the children who attend Camp McSauba, but it will also become a popular destination for families throughout the Charlevoix community.
If you have any questions, please contact Kent Knorr, City of Charlevoix Recreation Director, at 231-547-7183 or via email at
[email protected]. You can also reach Rotary Club President Abbie Hart at

PLEASE NOTE:
The new playground will be about 200 yards southwest of the lodge. Please park at the lodge parking lot. Check in will be in the lodge. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early. We will be providing water and snacks throughout the day. This event is a rain or shine event so please dress accordingly.
This community build represents the hard work and generous donations from the Charlevoix Community over the past year. Thank you!
