Shorts is a Northern Michigan staple and has gained regional recognition for their impressive craft beer menu. This local brewery has gained state and national recognition for their innovative beer names. Known for its Soft Parade, Bellaire Brown, and Huma Lupa Licious, the brew pub also offers numerous unique beers that cannot be found in stores. Try their Chocolate Wheat ale, an amazingly smooth and drinkable porter style beer. Gitchy Gitchy Ooh La La is brewed with nontraditional ingredients such as cucumber, lemon and lilac. This tasty blend creates a fun tasting experience. Shorts always has tons of new beers being added to their tap list. Make sure to save room for food, as their menu does not disappoint (our fav is the White Pepper sammy). View the complete beer menu here

A+ food and beer! I’ve of course had Shorts beer outside of the restaurant but it tasted even better here! Plenty of seating and tons of art on the walls to look at. Cool names for the food and so many options. Food came out quick! Servers are awesome too. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️

This is a nice place. Their beers are hit or miss but none are bad per se, just not my taste. The dip we ordered seemed microwaved and tasted poor quality. Our server Mark was excellent and immediately took it away and got us something we enjoyed better (the pretzels). He was attentive, considerate, time conscious, and friendly. Come in and try a unique beer and a nice open atmosphere.

Loved it. Not the first time here, but first review. I'm a Michigan resident, home brewer and foodie. You all are doing what needs to be done at a real craft brew pub. Thanks for keeping it an art with a heart. We made some great memories and everything on the menu..(food or brews) is a unique take and is equally awesome! 🤙🏼

Arrived on a Sunday at 5pm the day before Memorial Day. We parked behind the building and walked to the front of the building where the entrance is. Was seated promptly but we were seated in the part of the brewery that looked like the renovated part where there was more room. We were fairly close to the bathroom which was nice. Waitress came over quickly and asked what we would like to drink. I wanted the pistachio nitro but it was already gone which was a bummer so I got what is in the picture below. The beer was ok, nothing special. I was able to get a few pub only pours but nothing stood out. Order a couple pizzas, one was the mushroom which was really good and the other was pepperoni and sausage that was good also. Had no complaints with the food or the service. I was kind of bummed I could find any glassware in the store. Mother-in-law got the Ruben sandwich which she said was good…not like I took a bite or anything. It is a popular brewery so if you’re in the area grab a pint and support the Michigan economy.

Chicken Nachos and Buckingham Green salad were delicious! Cold drinks were all good, too. Nice waitress, prompt service, and no wait for a table.
