I was visiting from out of town for the holiday weekend and ordered take out here, as this place was recommended by a few friends. It was jam packed. The parking lot and inside the restaurant. They had a decent size lot but most spaces were filled. It may also be due to the fact that the Ironton Ferry is next door. I got the perch sandwich which was amazing and the beach fries, which were good but a bit overseasoned. I also ordered the strawberry shortcake but it was out of stock. I’d come back if I was in town again.

Went on a very busy Thursday before boyne thunder. Waited 15 minutes to get a dock and they got us right into a table. Menu and atmosphere were wonderful. Dock hand Max did a great job finding us a spot and getting us in it.

We were so happy to have lunch here! So kid friendly - they have a treasure chest full of toys for the kids. The food was very tasty, and the view beautiful. The casual and breezy atmosphere was lovely. All the waiters were extremely friendly. Absolutely loved it and hope to come again!

We had a party of 12 and knew there would be a wait, but was pleasantly surprised to see they had an area with yard games and bar while you wait. Once we were seated, the service was great. They even had treasure chest for the kids, which kept them occupied while we waited for food. The giant pretzel lived up to its name and was delicious as an appetizer. The food was excellent: beach fries, lamb burger, chicken sandwich, fish, and bbq sandwiches were all good. Also, the bathrooms were very nice and were “the best smelling bathroom ever.” They even sell the diffusers and a candle in the gift shop. Seriously, go take a whiff.

Been coming here for 30+ years. Still miss he grittiness of the old days, but they’re doing a pretty good job of working to class things up. Food is tasty. (Portions can just be a bit stingy, especially given the ‘upgraded’ prices.) Staff is very friendly, but not the fastest. Love the beach fries.
