1st Congregational UCC of Charlevoix is proud to present SWITCHBACK, the duo of Marty McCormack and Brian FitzGerald, in concert at the 1st Congregational UCC on Thursday, March 12, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The church is located at 101 State Street. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets will go on sale starting Feb 17 on the band's website WayGoodMusic.com. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the organization “Healthy Communities in Guatemala.” The mission supports poor people in Guatemala in many aspects of their lives, including education, health and nutrition, pastoral training, and community development. This concert will feature traditional Irish music, plus a selection of songs from SWITCHBACK's award-winning catalog of over 300 original tunes which have been described as “breathtaking scenery for your ears.” The duo has shared the stage with everyone from the legendary Irish band The Chieftains to the Moody Blues.
