The signature piece in the Library's Art Collection is painted on the curved wall at the entry. Artist Charles Thompson designed the mural to reflect the era of the late 1920s in Charlevoix, Michigan, the time of the original construction of the building. This is a must-see location with lots of interesting pieces of artwork, historic charm, and Michigan artifacts. Learn more about the Library.

One of the best libraries for kids I’ve ever been to. Love the playgrounds, especially the music area. Awesome for adults too, especially if you need to stop in and do some work.

This is truly an impressive built in 1927 to serve as a school. In 2006 it became the Library holding over 40, 000 volumes. Like a lot of  1920's building it was built to be spectacular. Over built with lots of detail. The Library remodel only improved on these while modernizing it. I love this place to relax and enjoy a lot of history. Bravo Charlevoix on your foresight. Overall 5 stars.

This is a wonderful facility! Beautifully built and decorated. Very helpful staff. Plenty of computers if you just have to use one. The book room upstairs has lots of good old books to purchase. Extensive local history collection. The kids garden outside is a fun place for families.
