Great food my whole family crushed it including kids meals!! Sushi was great. Made reservation which was easy and great! Great staff. Music a little loud and didn’t match atmosphere. Kitchen grease smell seeps into resturant- but old building

This was one of the best dinners I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere was absolutely perfect for a nice intimate date night. We got the mussels to start with, which were SO tasty. We got the tuna roll, venison, and Brussel sprouts for our meal. We felt like we weren’t being rushed, and the server was wonderful. Will definitely be back!!!!

Top ten restaurants in my Michigan list. They made special accommodations for my wife’s Birthday and let me put flowers on the table prior to our arrival. Reservation were spot on and in a romantic location. Server was professional and very friendly. Manager stopped buy to see how our evening was going. We felt special! Now the FOOD, we love fine dining and do this every chance we get. The flank steak was spectacular and needed no knife at all. Presentation was very artistic and mouth watering. Sides and charcuterie was excellent with the wide selection of wines. Dessert melted in your mouth. 10 out of 10! I never say that. I’m a food snob! This review was written the following day. No influence from staff or wine.

We made a bar reservation at 6:45 for 3 on July 23rd, my husband, myself and our 6 year old son. No where on line did it specify that it was actual seats at the bar, we thought it was a table in the bar area. It also didn't specify that we all needed to be 21. We arrived for our reservation to be told of the situation. We asked if we could still keep our reservation and sit with our son at the bar. The hostess said she would go ask the bartender. The answer we got was unexpected. The bartender said no since our son wouldn't be drinking alcohol, he would make less tip money wasting a seat on him. I logically understand that as I was raised by a restaurant manager and waited tables and bar tended for many years. However, how did the bartender know we were drinking at all or how did he determine our tipping status? Either way, not a good look or business practice. We were also not offered an alternative option. I hope in the future that you fix your reservation system and do better training with your staff on how to treat customers. I actually tried to handle this situation by emailing the restaurant before I posted on social media. 5 days later, no response. We ended up with an amazing meal at City Park Grill with amazing service. Where we tipped our server 30% of a bill with drinks, appetizers, meals and desserts.

This is one of my favorite places for dinner in Petoskey. Get the Thai beef salad, sweet potato curry, Brussels, and the sushi rolls. fresh, light, and delicious!! Not many restaurants have been able to get these dishes or combination of flavors right, but so far the kitchen is doing great (which is difficult to find up north). They work really hard to keep quality high! Best to make a reservation.
