The excursion here was well worth the drive. We got to choose from the inventory of crazy yarn at the mill and the other yarn back at the 165 year building her shop is in. Everyone was very polite. They don’t get many visitors in winter, so their in-house inventory is not flush with colours, but we still had a hard time choosing between the selection.

So glad I made the trip out to this wonderful fiber mill! She gave me a tour and I was able to buy some yarn and roving.

Today will be my third visit, in as many months. I just love the feel, the fiber content, the colors, and the made in Michigan appeal. The owner is a fantastic women very gracious and generous. It’s worth the drive just to arrive at yarn Disneyland. ❤️🧶

The owner was away, but the staff was happy to give us a tour and talk to us about the operation and machinery. The shop had a lot of cute things at fairly reasonable prices. I love that they name a lot of their colors after local features like Petoskey Stone gray and Bluejay blue.
