We had an upstairs room that was clean and comfortable. The water faucet handles were backward (hot water on the right instead of the left), which took a minute to get used to 😆. The staff was friendly! This motel is conveniently located and was easy to find on our first trip to Charlevoix! We would stay here again!

Perfect spot for the low maintenance traveler. If you’re looking for a clean room and bathroom and basic amenities this is your place. Soft sheets, comfy bed, mini fridge and a 6 cup coffee maker! Super sweet manager onsite was kind and helpful. Again, if you’re looking for fancy this isn’t your place. But if you just need a place to sleep and recharge without spending a lot of money, this is your spot.

Definitely not worth the price. More like a $69. / night motel. Definitely shows it age. Plus, you are located at the end of the runway…so you are in the glide path. It wasn't an annoyance, but you should be aware of the flight traffic.

Stayed here while in town for a wedding. Stayed only 2 nights and was charged $300! Called a couple days before check in to ask about a microwave and fridge in the room. Was told there was both. When we got there there was just a fridge. If you wanted to use the microwave you had to use the communal one in the hallway. Was told our room had recently been remodeled. If that is what they consider and upgrade then I would hate to see the ones that haven’t been remodeled. Was told if we needed anything extra there was a closet at the end that would have it. It did have extra towels and bed sheets but nothing else. The soap that was available in the room was horrible. Had to go buy our own at a local store. There is no ice machine. They did provide coffee, but it was a can that others had dipped their hands into instead of individual packages. The toilet set was horrible worn and you could see the screws holding it on because the covers were missing. You couldn’t get a happy medium with the water spray on the sink. Either you get a dribble or it blasts you. You also couldn’t fill up the sink for anything because there was no stopper for it. The hide away bed is just trash. It so uncomfortable that it hurts to sleep on. There is also no sheets for it. The heater/ac worked pretty good. You were able to open the window to get a breeze. No take out menus for food and no delivery to the motel. For the price we paid during the off season we could of gotten a much nicer hotel room somewhere else. No continental breakfast or anything like that. Your closest choice for breakfast was McDonalds.

Room was large and clean, newer carpet, some bathroom upgrades, but otherwise not really upgraded. Bed comfortable. AC/heat worked well, although AC remote didn't. Very friendly manager. The WiFi connected but no internet even though the manager rebooted; apparently a temporary issue with the hotel's cable. They could use more plugs in the room. There was coffee in the room and also in the hall shared by 4 "deluxe" rooms upstairs on the 2nd floor. The soap was econo but I'm shocked by the reviewer that went out and bought their own. No shampoo. Good water flow in the shower though. The price was fair for this walkable location into a high price town. Easy parking.
