215 E. Lake St.,
Petoskey, MI 49770
Phone

Nestled in downtown Petoskey, Beards has a unique concealed backroom location. With a vibe like your neighborhood coffee shop, the low key feeling is ever present with the offering of Wed-Sat food truck Happy’s Tacos. Looking for a good summer beer? Look no further than the Luna, this beer is a classic brewery staple that is a saison-styled American wheat ale that has amazing undertones of citrus. The Serendipity Porter offers a smooth chocolatey flavor with a perfect blend of sweetness. There are also subtle undertones of sherry and smoke that makes this a great class of beer.

Best brewery I've been to in Petoskey. The beer is good, the food is great, and both pale in comparison to the high quality service. This is a must visit when in Petoskey.

Beards is a pretty good brewery with decent food. The interior has huge windows with a view of the bay. They have a patio for drinks and dining. Sometimes they have live music. I think pizza is their best dish. The Chicken and Wild Rice was good but the sauce was really salty. The Duck Confit Pizza was awesome. I like their lighter beers best.

Really enjoyed the pizza and Beer-tails at this place - best things on the menu! Facility is nice with scenic views, the menu is small with semi pricey pizzas but they were worth it. The salad in my opinion was not worth it - and I knew I should have not tried to be healthy to begin with that evening. Sadly, the server we had was not very attentive - but could just be a rough night for her. They also have a gift shop with decent prices!

If it weren't for the location I don't believe this place would have any business. Their beer is terrible, can't find a single one I like, and their food is average at best. My wife and I have given them multiple chances since moving here 5 years ago, and won't be back. Some friends who were in town wanted to try it, so we reluctantly went, mostly for the view. The service was slow, nearly nonexistent, the beer was the usual blah, and the food was embarrassingly bad as it was barely warm, and lacked seasoning. In my opinion, you could get a better dining experience by stopping at a gas station for a cheap beer and some Slim Jims.

An amazing restaurant with fantastic food, a fun atmosphere, and friendly wait staff. We each ordered a beverage and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I got a cider and it was the perfect amount of refreshing and crisp but not too sweet. The truffle fries were a great starter dish to share with the table while we waited for the rest of the food (but we didn't have to wait long). I split the wild mushroom pizza with my husband and we both enjoyed it. Combined with the truffle fries, it was the perfect amount of food for two hungry people. Although they do not have a parking lot, there was plenty of easily accessible street parking.
