Learn to hook with the best of them! Suitable for ages 10 and up. This simple hands-on workshop will teach you the basics to get you started on your way to crocheting scarves, hats, and beyond using only a hook and yarn. Topics covered include single, half-double, and double crochet, turning, crocheting in a circle, and basic pattern reading. All tools and materials will be provided - students take home crochet needle to continue practicing! Bring yourself and some curiosity. Participants are welcome to bring a beverage of choice and/or snacks. With local artist Jasmine Petrie of Howl at the Loom.
