Geoffrey Reynolds, a local author, and historian will share the story of the burning of the propeller Champlain off Fisherman’s Island on Jun 16-17, 1998. He will discuss its aftermath for the 56 passengers and crew, 21 of whom perished that night. This event is in partnership with the Charlevoix Historical Society.
