2- Day workshop covering my 2 step method to capturing sunlight in watercolor. Learn how “quickly” a watercolor can be painted while achieving fresh clean colors that capture the light. You will learn about the pattern sketch and how it sets you up to have a plan for your painting that allows those glowing colors to show through in the end.
Supplies:
Watercolor paper – 140 lb. is fine, any brand, I use cold press. Allow for at least 2 sheets of a minimum 11” x 14” ish size.

Watercolor paints – any you have will work, tube colors work best. Basic palette is fine.
Brushes – any variety you have will work, try to have 1 larger size, at least 1”
Tiny spray bottle.
Palette.
Water container.
Board to secure paper to (either with tape or clips) OR use a watercolor block.
